MAXIMA – Puponautai II


Maxima is the market leader in the Baltics within the retailers. After the great success of the Puponautai I promotion in 2013 (with this promotion Boost and Maxima won the Password Effie 2014 for the most effective big budget marketing campaign of the year 2013) Maxima asked Boost for a second collectibles’ promotion.


The story is a perfect continuation of the promotion in 2013, Boost conceived it with a second new carrier. The Boost solution included a 360-degree concept for a short promotion, a collection mechanism, a collection of 39 beans, a carton collection case, a tin ball to collect them, a key chain rockets, over 30 different merchandise articles and a concept for POS promotion and shopper marketing. The production and supply chain were also made by Boost.


10 weeks August-October 2014, 230 shops, 7 million Beans distributed (in the country there are ~400.000 kids age of 0-14) and a huge national response. A significant increase in sales, shopper visits, commercial benefits, average receipts and footfall at the POS, together with the highest participation in the country.

Thanks to the innovative mechanism, the detailed storyline and the playability of the concept, the promotion activated shoppers and increased value to the customers, retailer’s brand awareness as well as commercial benefits for Maxima.
